When Churches’ Become Fetish Ritual Dens — Tony Ogunlowo
In the past year or so there has been an alarming increase in the number of ‘churches’ that double-up as fetish ritual dens.
Corpses are being discovered buried in the foundation of churches and several so-called pastors have been caught making human sacrifices.
A church is a place of worship and the priest or pastor is supposed to be the person who ministers to the people about the Bible and Christianity.
Churches are sprouting up almost on a daily basis as people seek miraculous cures and fortunes more than the Word of God. As there is no way to check most pastors qualifications or track records, you’re at their mercy. Everyone is busy trying to find more powerful pastors to help them fulfil their dreams and most rely on word-of-mouth or recommendation.
Everything in life is supply and demand: people want things to happen in their lives miraculously and crooked pastors are only willing to supply the demand. It’s very easy for a babalawo or fetish spiritualist to dress up as a pastor, complete with cassock and dog collar!
The only question is where do they get their ‘power’ from? Certainly not from God.
It’s very easy for a fetish priest to hide behind the façade of an innocent looking church which becomes a prop that hides their true purpose. There will be candles, Bibles and prayer books. Hymns will be sung, prayers said and a sermon read. All in all it looks like an innocent church ceremony.
But behind the scenes what is the pastor really doing to produce his ‘miracles’ or ‘prophecies’ on demand? Churches are not factories that mass produce miracles – it’s simply not possible!
A lot of pastors get their ‘power’ from a number of questionable sources : some go deep into the forest to consult the spirits of the trees and rocks, others seek ‘power’ from the entities of the deep ocean whilst others use human sacrifices.
Human sacrifice is as old as the human race and certain ‘gods’ and spirits will demand an offering to grant the user certain ‘powers’. By burying a sacrificed human being in the foundations of a ‘church’ not only is the victims’ soul trapped within the vicinity it’ll also be used to draw people in and for no reason they’ll feel compelled to go to that particular church like moths are drawn towards light. Over time more and more sacrifices will be demanded and one by one members of the congregation will begin to die mysteriously, their souls captured and used.
It’s not easy to spot such wayward ‘pastors’ as audibly they’ll be reciting texts from the Bible like they are saints, for the benefit of the congregation, but in their minds they’ll be chanting invocations to invoke the ‘gods’ they are really using.
But the people themselves are to blame: ‘miracles’ don’t happen everyday in a real church but rather once in a blue moon hence the reason they are called ‘miracles’.
After some people die and go to the afterlife they’ll have a heart attack ( - if it’s possible!) when they won’t find themselves where they expect to be after a lifetime of going to ‘church’; many will argue that they were ‘blessed’, ‘baptised’, ‘anointed’ and prayed for in ‘church’. The sad truth is a lot of people would have unwittingly sold their souls to whatever their ‘pastors’ was really worshipping. When you start asking your pastor for miracle-this and miracle –that, he or she will never tell you, honestly, what the conditions are for what you’re receiving or what you ask for – and most people, ignormous, won’t ask! You hand over your thick wad of Naira and you are told to come back in 7 days time to collect your soap, anointing oil or ‘holy water’. What’s in it you don’t know and you don’t ask.
And what’s to say your ‘pastor’ hasn’t got you in his sights for his next sacrifice to replenish the one buried under his church? How many people go missing in Nigeria every day and are never seen again?
Again I’m not saying all pastors are rogues and have dead bodies buried underneath their churches ; there are genuine pastors out there who have genuine places to worship and pray; it’s up to the worshipper to be more discerning. If there’s too many weird ‘miracles’ happening in a church there’s something else going on – either trickery or the ‘pastor’ has got a fetish temple hidden behind the altar! But yet again if you’re looking for this sort of ‘miracles’ or you want some of the pastors’ ‘power’ you only have yourself to blame for whatever you get yourself mixed up in.

'Letter To Padlock Guys' By Relationship Blogger, Joro Olumofin
For the guys in the house, this is for you..Read below
Letter to "Padlock Men" Who is a "Padlock man"? Any man who doesn't have tangible plans for his lady, yet stands in her way of finding love.
If you've been dating a lady for more than 2 years and you haven't given her a ring; End that relationship today, don't be selfish, don't be a Padlock Man. Let her find Someone who will step up and is worthy of her time. Since all you do is :
1⃣You use one of the most important things a lady has which is her Time / Age / Youth ( She will never be 24 again, or 25 again, or 27 again) wasting her time is Detrimental.
2⃣You eat her food ( You've turned her into your real life Ekaete / or maid)
3⃣You've increased her V*gina mileage (You have been dating for more than 2 years and you have sex almost every day, what will be left for the next guy?)
4⃣You let her do occasional abortions for you because you know you won't marry her
5⃣You collect her money & Savings ( she gives you money because she's investing in you, not because she's a charity organization but she doesn't know she's investing in you to find your own Mrs right in the nearest future)
6⃣You're using her Star and Prayers
7⃣ You introduce her to your friends / family and instruct them to call her IYAWO WA knowing that's what she wants to hear.
There are a lot of Intentional and Unintentional Padlock Guys who know that they don't have any tangible plans for a lady but yet keep her around and fill her head with tales of imagery love.
Ladies, it is your job to wakeup and realize that you're not this mans lover or girlfriend but you're his default mother / Sponsor. You cater for him, nurture and pray for him with a promise of 💍 Love. A promise alone doesn't cut it these days. SOMETHING TANGIBLE pays more. It's like you're investing in a business without insurance. Last week I received a mail from a lady who wanted to commit suicide because she dated this guy for 4 years, they broke up , 3 months later she saw his picture on a wedding blog. Ladies, This won't be your portion. Amen! It's not about prayers alone. Be aggressive, think like a man and use Logic instead of emotions

The Careless Lover (episode 2)
I look at the young dude and I could see him smiling at me, wow this dude is so handsome I
said to myself and sat down. Miss Eunice went to the board and wrote mean on it, she asked the class to define it but everybody is quiet ,she called about two people to define it but they couldn’t then she called me. I defined it as summation of all the data in a value divided by the numbers of value in a set of data. After few minutes she wrote a question on the board and asked one of us to come out and solve it but none of us came out except for David Austin who solve it and got it correctly
She tought us for about one hour thirty minutes before the next teacher comes in,few hours time the bell rang for break. l couldn’t go out for break because this is my first day in this school and i am a very shy person ,I was in my sit when a girl of about my age walk up to me and introduced herself as Sonia Dickson. she was slender, average in height and a little light in complexion. The only difference between the both of us is that I am dark in complexion and average in body size. I introduced myself as Cynthia David and we both exchange handshake after that she told me that she is impressed by the way I answered question at my first day at school and that she would like us to be friends, I was so happy and she offered to buy me lunch for accepting to be her friend.
She took me to a carteen in the school where we bought meatpie and soft drinks,as we are about eating David Austin walked into the carteen,I looked at him and he smiled at me,he walked up to us and asked to joined us. Sonia quickly accepted and we all had lunched together happily, the bell rang few minutes later and we all left for our classes,at 3:30pm the closing bell rang and everybody started preparing to go home, some people could not even wait for the bell to finish ringing before running out of the class.
Everybody left the class except for Sonia and i because I was waiting for her to finish copying the assignment on the board, when she was true we started going home when we heard somebody calling my name, I turned and it was David Austin running and calling out to us

What You Need To Know Before Dating A Girl Who Travels Alot
As a rule, modern people are free to travel all around the world. If your finances and job allow, you can spend your entire life on the road. But what if traveling is not your main activity and you’ve met a special girl who is actually a travel addict? Here are 8 important factors that may influence your relationship with a woman like this.
1. She will not always be available for communication. One of the core things to know before dating an enthusiastic traveler is that you won’t be able to spend too much time together due to her busy schedule. People who have wanderlust in their veins are typically freelancers so they don’t have to stick to one and only place. If your lifestyle is absolutely different from hers, there is the risk of a breakup.
2. Prepare to carve out time from your schedule. Her visits may be rare, you know it. Furthermore, they may be spontaneous and you will have to adjust your plans to her schedule. Not that it was something terrible or hard to complete yet it might be somewhat irritating. In some cases, you must give up your interests in the name of bigger things.
3. A trip will be the best gift for her. People who are in love with adventures and new impressions prefer getting special gifts. Instead of spending your money on jewelry or restaurants, you’d better confess your love by arranging a romantic vacation for the two of you. Indeed, what can be more exciting than going to new cool places with your beloved one?
4. She will expect you to share her adventures. If you don’t like traveling, you should probably not date a girl who can’t live without world tours. But if you have nothing against opening new horizons, your significant other will be happy to take joint trips from time to time.
5. Be ready to reach compromises. Couples, where partners live their lives differently, are prone to arguments and even fights. Dissimilar lifestyle habits mean conflicting goals and interests. No relationship survives if lovers fail to understand each other and agree on particular matters.
6. This may impact your financial state. When you date a girl who dedicates most of her life to traveling, you likely join her on some trips. This means you spend more money on pleasures than an average guy with middle income. Even though there is a plenty of cheap options, traveling across many countries and continents can eat your money up. Think how you can handle it!
7. It might be more difficult to build a connection. When your beloved one is far away and it happens regularly, your communication might get poor. A very dangerous factor! It is impossible to build a healthy relationship without the mutual trust, proper verbal and non-verbal interaction, and understanding. You two should work out the strategy that would allow you to actively participate in each other’s lives.
8. It might be a bit like an LDR. A long-distance relationship I mean. This is quite a risky undertaking because not all daters are capable of maintaining the strong connection without regular contacts. In particular, your fidelity might suffer from the absence of communication. When your girlfriend is on the other side of the planet, you start thinking of what she might be doing right now and with what guys. Likewise, there is a seductive opportunity to have fun with other girls in your environment.

DUNAETA Lauds Rachael Umahi For Building Houses For 172 Widows
….Describes her as embodiment of selfless service
A Non-Governmental Organisation, the David Umahi Nweze Akubaraoha Ebonyi Transformation Agenda (DUNAETA), has hailed the move by Chief (Mrs.) Rachael Umahi, wife of the Ebonyi State Governor and Founder of the Family Succour& Upliftment Foundation Programme, to build houses for 172 widows in the State. DUNAETA in a statement issued on Monday in Abakaliki, the State capital, described this as a demonstration of selfless leadership that others in similar positions need to emulate.
The group in the statement signed by the Founder and President, Lady Monica Ada Chidinma Eze, congratulated the Ebonyi State First Lady for this bold initiative that tallies with the biblical injunction in James 1:27 which, states: “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” (King James Version)
“Ebonyi women and, indeed, women all over the world will forever remain grateful for the humanitarian efforts of Chief (Mrs.) Rachael Umahi, who has used her pet project to bring succour to the women of Ebonyi State in various ways. With this latest move, at least 172 widows in Ebonyi State are to receive two-bedroom bungalow each as succour to alleviate the sufferings of this group of underprivileged citizens who are often victims of harmful traditional practices.,” said Lady Eze, who is also the Technical Assistant on Media to Governor David Umahi.
She noted that the Ebonyi First Lady has used her pet project to positively affect and influence lives in the State through the paying of medical bills of indigent patients, mobilsiation of women towards better family, as well as partnering with USAID/PMI and the Ministry of Health in sustaining support towards the elimination of malaria and assisting those suffering from VVF in the State.
“I would be pleased to render my services in any way possible to enable the Ebonyi State First Lady succeed in her efforts to turn the fortunes of Ebonyi women around, particularly in her efforts to fight all harmful practices that are inimical to the welfare of women in the State,” Lady Eze said.
She urged all Ebonyi women “to reciprocate and appreciate the efforts of this great gift to us by participating actively in politics and lending constructive voices on the issues of governance and welfare of the families as our amiable First Lady and her husband cannot do it alone.”
Monica Ada Chidinma Eze,
President DUNAETA & TA On Media to Gov. Umahi
