Aluta gyration series 4 By Stainlessy/Sijuade

Greatest Nigerian students!!!!!

WHEN AN OLD MAN DIES, A LIBRARY BURN TO ASHES

BUT WHEN A GALLANT COMRADE DIES, A STRUGGLE BIOGRAPHY TORN INTO PIECES

Coward shall die thousands of time before their time, the valiant will taste but one
Death, perhaps is the inestimable end of man, it will surely come when it will come...
The greatest adversary in life is not death but a life without purpose... There is nothing more sadden than be a golden boy putting on a Golden shoe, while accepting a bronze medal...
We shall all be remembered for something... None is all good, none is all bad but posterity will judge all us judiciously and accordingly

REST IN PEACE TO ALL OUR FALLEN ALUTARIANS...

SO SAD MY ALUTA REVIVAL LEFT US ON AWARE,

ALHAJI KANO MY LEADER FELL AND NEVER WAKE

COMR.SEUN PLUS (SAAPADE) SLEPT AND NEVER LOOK BACK,

GREATEST COMPATRIOT!

"I'm tired of sailing my little boat, far inside the harbor bar, I want to go out where the big ships float, out on the deep where great ones are, and should frail craft prove too slight for the waves that sweep those billow o'er, I'd rather go down in the stirring fight than drowse to death at the sheltered shore".
In the words of Alexander Smith, "A man does not plant a tree for himself. He plants it for posterity."

MY COMRADES, DO NOT FIDGET, AT THE END WE SHALL BE CELEBRATED..

LEST I FORGET. There are some people who instead being the net consumer of goodies of Unionism , would rather contribute their quota to the good of unionism...I AM MOTIVATED BY SUCH PEOPLE,

Let's learn some KITCHEN tips, your kitchen is the most important room in your home.

A lot comes out from there, so let's learn some few tricks. Works wonders.

1. If you happen to over-salt a pot of soup, just drop in a peeled potato. The potato will absorb the excess salt.

2. When boiling eggs, add a pinch of salt to keep the shells from cracking.

3. Never put citrus fruits (Oranges, Lemons, limes, etc) or tomatoes in the fridge. The low temperatures degrade the aroma and flavor of these fruits.(That's why our tomatoes don't last in the fridge)

The Power of Positivity - Part 1 Badero Olusola

Maiyegun General

I keep telling and reassuring everyone around me the importance and power of "positivity" - thinking positive.

I would love to have your attention for five minutes through this write up, it might be what you have been looking for in reaching that life changing decision, forever. Like they say, no condition is permanent - good or bad, change is constant!

Whenever my mind trances through the usefulness of "quiet time" (private time you spend alone thinking) in reaching life changing decisions, I do question myself of "if every human truly feels this way"? Talking to yourself and imagining what you wanted your life to look like in reality -- but after all efforts, you still find it so hard in reaching those goals.

Many have lived the most amazing part of their lives in illusion of "it will get better", but never did -- we blame our background, race and lately, education. We value paper qualifications more than personal/self creati-vication (my coinage) that really drive value. In the process, we are lost in the crowd struggling to climb the same ladder millions others are fighting to climb as well. The family pressure would also be there forcing us to take important decisions of our life in line with their own expectations and not ours.

That is the beginning of many failures that is currently denying you from making a headway in life.
In the year 2012, I took a decision that changed my life forever. The decision to leave Nigeria and start again. It was a selfish decision at the time but sometimes you need to be selfish to get to your goal in life. One of the mistakes me make in life is; We live most of our lives according to the dictates of others. I'm the process, the life changing decisions that should have changed us ended up ruining us -- we would then blame it all on God, destiny, race and background.

Failure has no family, success begets many acquaintances.
It was the year I knew I've had enough of struggling to scale a broken ladder of success in an environment that required you knowing someone that knows someone before your success could be determined. I had baggages that were enough to discourage me from proceeding - to them, it wasn't the best option but it was an option worth taking -- sensing my own hardline way of doing things, it was the only option they had to buy into.

Looking back today, I can confidently say, "God has been good to me". He has!
Many of us are wasting so much resources on acquiring education that we don't need, in other to get a good job that pays well but never exists - good as it sounded, have you done enough studies of the job availability in your area of residence to know which job pays well and recruiting before signing up for the current degree course you are running? If the answer is "No", then you are pursuing a wrong dream.
Don't get me wrong! Acquiring education is something I cherish a lot. I want to be a topnotch executive the world would at my prime. You need education to get that - the other way is to make yourself one.

I love seeing young people celebrating their education triumph. I'm more interested in what they would become after. As a blogger, I've had enough employment requests from my friends, asking to help them secure jobs, in which I know I'm handicapped in fulfilling - these are young Nigerians with good grades, spent so much money in acquiring -- all came to naught, for a fault that I would call, "theirs"!
This is a reality!

Many are already out of the country eking out a living in a an inexplainable way, after so much time through the school.

In this country, the basic education assured and compulsory for all citizens is primary and secondary education - it is the foundation you need to learn all that you need to function as a human being. You can decide to get a university or college degree in any endeavour of your choice if you so desire. But your environment would determine that - to be an entrepreneur or a scholar.

Many don't have to go to the university when they know they would perform better in craft and other technical areas -- without having to go through the university or colleges -- funny enough, they are those employing others who graduates from the universities.
Education is all you need to scale the hurdle of stagnation, no doubt -- but that is not limited to the classrooms. Creativity is another.

You can't do any of these if you are not positive.

Complaining is not even an option!
If you can make anything up in your head, why not try it with your hands?
Enough said, think about it!

To be continued...
Maiyegun General

ARRIVAL OF THE EXPECTED: Support STAINLESSY 4 NANS VP EXTERNAL

ARRIVAL OF THE EXPECTED

As hot as the furnace of student unionism is, those of us who have the privilege of passing through it have no cause for regret. - Segun Okeowo 2001

As a product of tradition and culture, who drank purified water of struggle from the lake of freedom, I believe that an elimination of struggle from epistemological pursuit of humanity is tantamount to vanity , if further extended it can lead to catastrophy.

Is it for your gain that you are enthroned? or for the interest of the interested?

Oh Union! Where is the unsplittable union?

Is compromise your watchword? or objectivity your line of focus?

The treatment of equals, unequally, the enthronement of injustice and the marauding atmosphere of oppression, where our people have no platform resist suppression.

One sees water everywhere without a single drop to quench one's thirst.

Each day passes as if it were once a lifetime, and the general climate of comradeship speak not..... Why?

Be safe enough to ask for your rights. Oh! Its sadden but now it is time to stop waiting and start acting.
Rebellion to tyrants is an obedience to God.

5 ways to avoid accident of Lagos - Ibadan express way. (Pls Share with Others)

1. Stay away from the ‘fast lane’

It the expressway, so it feels natural to kick up your gear and soar…but remember that speed
thrills and also kills. While on the expressway, keep a rein on your speed and stay in control of
your vehicle.
Also, stay away from the fast lane and instead, use
the center or right lane. Doing so ensures you
have more escape routes should a problem
suddenly arise that requires you to quickly change
lanes. Actually, most of the accidents on the
Lagos‐Ibadan expressway occur in the left lane, so
stay away already reduces your chances of being
involved. An added perk is to stay away from the
fast lane ensure that less conspicuous to the
highway patrols and will not be flagged down so
often.

2. Do not drive on drugs and alcohol

This may sound cliché but, alcohol and drugs, not
just cocaine or intoxicants like marijuana but any
kind of drug basically, alter the normal body
system and so can impair judgments as well as
slow down reflexes. Driving under the influence of
alcohol, marijuana or other drugs can cost you
your license – or your life. So many accidents that
have occurred on the expressway have been as a
result of drivers who insisted on heading out while
on drugs or alcohol. Even if you think it is just
only one drink or one smoked joint, do not take
the risk, stay of the wheel and save not just your
life, but the life of others.

3. Check your vehicle before you set out. Know its
limits.

A lot of drivers just set out with their vehicles,
without first checking to see if the engine and
brake is in perfect condition or the tires well
inflated and screwed in. This negligence puts the
driver as well as other motorist at risk. Drivers
must ensure their vehicles are in good working
condition‐ there should be no compromise on the
quality of brakes and tyres. Aside from checking
the engine, rate the performance limits of the
vehicle. Pay attention to how your particular
vehicle reacts in certain situations, how long it can
last on the road and how many people plus cargo
it can take per time. The risk of a fatal crash also
increases with
every additional passenger or luggage.

4. Ignore aggressive drivers, do not tailgate.

If you have driven past the Lagos‐Ibadan
expressway, you will be well aware of the kind of.
crazy drivers that parade the road. They are far
from courteous and flaunt road rules with no
remorse. They also like to challenge other drivers
by doing such things as speeding recklessly or
cutting other drivers off. Do not engage this kind
of drivers or try to beat them at their own game,
best thing to do is to get as far out of their way as
possible. Rather than play their games and get
them even much more infuriated, slow down and
let them pass. The quicker you can get them away
from you, the safer you will be.
Do not tailgate any other vehicle or allow others to
tailgate you. Leave a three‐second cushion
between you and the car in front of you and begin
your journey early enough so you do not have to
speed to make up time. Again, large tractor trailers
need extra space when making wide right turns,
so, stay away from the right side of anyone you
see on the expressway.

5. Lock your Mobile phones away. Avoid other in‐
car distractions.

Mobile phones are not the best companion on the
road and should only be used for emergency
purposes only. And even before being use, the
driver should cut of motion and make a parking by
the road side to take or make the call. Talking on
the phone, while driving, is straight ticket to an
accident as it is extremely distracting. If you must
use your cell phone while driving, try a
hands‐free model or enable a Bluetooth connection
with the car’s radio. It is important basically to
avoid all forms of distractions, from loud music to
doing things like eating or brushing your hair (yes,
some people who actually do these things). If you
are not concentrating solely on your driving, you
will not be prepared for anything that is up ahead
and you put yourself at risk of an accident.
