Exclusive: Osinbajo And The Need To Be More Careful Than Ever Now

President Muhammadu Buhari left Nigeria for the UK supposedly for a short medical break, but the break is beginning to turn from short to long as different news emanate from the presidency on regular basis trying to justify the president’s continued stay in the UK.

Today it is “so so and so” visited Buhari in London with pictures circulated on social media, while tomorrow, it is either a member of his family or someone from the presidency claiming he spoke with the president on phone or got a message from him, while other Nigerians are totally shut-out from the President.

While the president is still being expected in the country, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is acting as the president for now, and he is receiving commendations for some of his actions, even though we all know his powers are still limited.

For example, when he stormed the Murtala Muhammed International airport in Lagos just last week, Nigerians praised the move and applauded him as President Buhari has never made such move since he became president.

Another example is the gradual fall in dollar rate to the Nigerian Naira which before now was the reverse.

Nigerians are beginning to see the acting president as someone that would perform better than the President himself and are beginning to have many thoughts running through their minds.

However, a very reliable source in the villa, who pleaded anonymity confirmed to Olika Reporters International that some cabinet members in the presidency, the cabal that has held on to Buhari’s government since it came on board, some of his family members and kinsmen are not happy and comfortable with the commendations the acting president is getting from Nigerians.

No wonder, some days ago, the presidency released a statement that those praising the acting president are mischief makers that want to cause confusion in Buhari’s government, praying for the demise of the president and instigating some persons that would possibly become the vice president, in the event of any eventuality. The presidency in its statement referred to them as those that want to reap where they did not sow.

The acting president at this point in time must be very careful, considering the fact that the cabal that has held on to Buhari’s government is one that wants to continue holding on to power for as long as possible, as it is very obvious from different reports so far that they are very strong and powerful.

2019 Presidency: Fayose Warns The Igbos Not To Take Obasanjo's Word Serious

Fayose
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has advised South East people not believe words credited to former President Olusegun Obasanjo that an Igbo person has a shot at the presidency.
Recall that Obasanjo had recently advocated for an Igbo President in 2019.
Obasanjo had said, “Irrespective of the thinking of the people ahead of 2019, I personally think that South-East should have a go at the Presidency too.”
But Fayose in his reaction said the Ibogun-born politician, who had ruled Nigeria both as a Military Head of State and civilian President was only looking for relevance.
Speaking with The Sun, the fiery governor said, “Do you ever take Obasanjo serious? I don’t take him serious. By his nature, Obasanjo wants relevance at all times. We have worked with him and used to be his foot soldiers. I know him more than anybody in this country.
“He just talks, so that he would remain relevant. Do you see any other former President in the country running his mouth like his? If it is not the fact that he has a voice as a former head of state, where is Obasanjo’s constituency? Who are his followers?
“How many votes can Obasanjo win in his ward? We must say the truth and we must face the truth. Let’s give it to him, as a leader in this country, whoever has governed this country before would remain our leader, but he must equally recall and admit that he is becoming more fairly negative than working towards national building.”

How To Combat Spiritual Attacks

By Tony Ogunlowo

I’ve spent a lifetime fending off spiritual attacks from family, friends and  people I don’t even know. Thank God I’m still alive till this day to tell the tale; many not so fortunate have gone to meet their Maker before their time.
We live in precarious times where people use the Power of Darkness to harm their fellow human beings through spells, incantations – even bad thoughts. People are being killed in their sleep, through kidney failure, strokes, road accidents and through other mysterious circumstances.
People go to witchdoctors to procure amulets, talismans and incantations to protect them from evil and people who wish them ill.
They won’t work.
The main reason these things don’t work is because they are created by Man who consults the lesser spirits (aka demons). The juju you do to protect yourself can be understood by another witchdoctor who knows how to unravel it. For instance an armed robber who does juju so he’s impervious to bullets can be killed by having his head chopped off or set on fire. Remember the Man who made the pencil also made the eraser. There will always be a way to get around what any witchdoctor may have done.
So how do you protect yourself from spiritual attacks?
The first and foremost thing is to believe that there is no power that supersedes that of God. Be you a Christian, Hindu or Muslim you have to believe that all power comes from God. Everything else is superficial and false.
In believing you can’t allow your faith to waiver! If you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can move mountains!
Once you have an unwavering belief in God no harm will come your way. In addition to spiritual attacks I’ve been poisoned several times, battled cancer and kidney failure and I’m still alive! All witches, witchdoctors and evil doers are subject to the will of God! Believe in him ( - not blind faith!) and you will be saved.
You cannot for a second doubt the power of the living God. Not for a second. If you do you will perish. The Lord God hates that Evil be wrought in the world.
With your faith intact it’s time to proceed to the next level.
Pray! You don’t need a pastor or prophet to pray for you: you can do it yourself (- unless of course you doubt yourself!). Pray honestly to God and you will hear his voice! It doesn’t matter whether you are a Muslim or a Christian. If you pray correctly you will hear God’s voice. To hear his voice you need to be free of all prejudice, selfishness, malice and have a clear conscience. For Christians who don’t know how to pray there is the Lord’s Prayer, Psalm 23 and 91 – or you can come up with your very own personalised prayer. God doesn’t need your money, tithes, your offerings – or anything! All he requires of you is to follow his way ( i.e  - The Ten Commandments). All he needs you to do is talk to him, honestly.
Carry a symbol of your religion: most Christian will make the sign of the cross when confronted with evil or wear a crucifix; Muslims can carry their prayer beads, the Misbaha or Tesbih and Jews the Star of David. These things work a lot better than talismans or amulets from your Babalawo or witchdoctor! Word of advice here – some people carry crucifixes and tesbihs along with what they get from their witchdoctors in the hope it will give them all round protection. It won’t!  The minute you start mixing something else with your religion you lose the protection of God. And the reason is very simple, because you doubt him by putting your faith in other things he will withdraw his support for you! (Remember ‘..you shall have no other god before me..’)
Scientists have agreed that the most powerful form of energy in the universe is white light. Our Lord Jesus said that ‘…I am the Light of the World…’. Surround yourself with white light (- and not darkness!). To put it in a simple way that anybody can understand and follow: when you are praying imagine a spotlight of white of coming down from heaven, covering and transfiguring you. No evil can come near anyone who is in the Light! Do this each time you pray or if you feel you’re in danger.
Another thing to do is ask the angels for help. There is a lot of controversy surrounding the consultation of angels and let me see if I can clear it up. An archangel or angel does not replace the role of God the Father, God the Holy Spirit or God the Son (Jesus Christ) in our lives: they complement. There are also those who would like to deceive you that you can control angels. You can’t! Angels are messengers from God! They will always do Gods will – not yours! Everyone has a guardian angel who watches over them. They are in your life to help and protect you at their discretion. They will help you and look after you as long as you are doing Gods will. They will not protect you if you’re bad, evil, selfish  or don’t follow the will of God.
Most important thing of all – Heaven helps those who help themselves. Don’t go where you shouldn’t go, don’t do things you shouldn’t do. Be vigilant at all times and don’t put the Lord God to the test. If you’re thrown into the lion’s den you will be saved but if you walk in willingly you’re on your own!
So you don’t need a pastor, prophet or witchdoctor (- who are only interested in your money!) to keep you safe from the forces of Evil. You can do it yourself.
Believe. Pray. Surround yourself with the Light of God and ask for continuing protection from your guardian angels.
I am living proof that it works.

We Reject Results You Declared For Etche/Omuma Inconclusive Elections – APC Tells INEC

The Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has rejected purported results for Etche State Constituency and Etche/Omuma Federal Constituency Etche/Omuma rerun elections reportedly declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Sunday, saying that the “purported results are for the rerun elections that were earlier declared inconclusive by the Returning Officers, Prof. Olatunbosun Odusanya and Prof. Omotola respectively at the Okehi, Saturday. They had subsequently announced that the conclusion of the process would take place today (Sunday) or on Monday”.

The statement which was signed by Rivers State APC Chairman, Chief (Dr.) Davies Ibiamu Ikanya JP said, “wewere taken aback when it was reported that the National Electoral Commissioner in charge, Mrs. May Agbamuche-Mbu had ordered that the incomplete results be declared despite the earlier declaration by the two Returning Officers on Saturday at Okehi that the elections were inconclusive.”

The statement reads: “The APC vehemently rejects the results as declared today (Sunday) at the State INEC Office in Port Harcourt. This action by INEC runs counter and contradictory to earlier announcement on Saturday by the aforementioned Returning Officers who are the duly empowered persons to make such declarations. What INEC did today is a rape on democracy and the APC will surely resist it with every legal window available to it. INEC can only do what it did today because Gov. Nyesom Wike has, as usual, generously compromised key officials of INEC in Rivers State.

“The APC notes that despite the general outcry concerning Gov. Nyesom Wike’s interference in the electoral process, the governor physically held hostage a Returning Officer to force him announce results in a manner unbecoming of a governor. We condemn this and call on INEC leadership and security agencies to investigate this unfortunate incidence.”

“We recall that this same compromised INEC in Rivers State embarked on the now infamous 2015 elections which is unarguably the worst election in the annals of Nigeria. During the December 10, 2016 rerun that followed, INEC continued to exhibit unwarranted contradictions and unwholesome mishandling of the process which resulted in the further rescheduling of the rerun elections for Etche State Constituency and Etche/Omuma Federal Constituency. Sadly, INEC has, once again, bungled it.”
