The body of a nine-year-old girl, who died in the weekend Badagry canoe tragedy, has been recovered, according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
The body was on Sunday recovered by emergency workers from the state and federal emergency workers, assisted by local divers.
The canoe was reportedly not registered for commercial purpose. It was said to have taken off from Idagba with 10 passengers and dropped them at Iworo where eight other passengers were picked enroute Idagba before it capsized.
The jetty chairman, who was interrogated by the marine police office, Badagry, has been released.
