Maimako who is the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos on Wednesday
escaped death as some gunmen invaded his private residence in Eto Baba area of
Jos North.
According to Report; The
gunmen who were said to have attacked the house at about 8.30pm on Wednesday,
were however, not able to penetrate the house.
Report made it known
that, the vice chancellor who resumed office in June, was out of the country as
of the time of the attack.
Two of the VC’s guards
were not as lucky as their boss as they were killed by the gunmen.
Maimako took over as
the VC on June 22, succeeding Prof. Hayward Mafuyai.
