Despite the persistent downturn in the economic situation of the country, the Ogun State government is living up to expectation with the prompt payment of worker's salaries and pension as when due.
The state Commissioner for Finance, Mr Adewale Oshinowo, in a statement issued in Abeokuta, disclosed that the July salaries of the workers in the state have been paid, emphasising that it was paid before the month ended to enable the workers cater for their needs at the appropriate time.
"Workers in Ogun have started receiving credit alerts from their various banks, even before the month ended. This is to help them sort their needs. We are time conscious when it comes to the welfare of Ogun State workers", the commissioner stated.

Oshinowo enjoined civil servants in the state to complement governments effort by contributing their quota towards realizing the rebuilding mission of the government by being punctual and committed to their jobs.
