Fresh report indicates
that Suspected Fulani herdsmen have attacked Ogege community in the
Okpale-Ingle ward of Edumoga, Okpokwu local government area of Benue State.

identified
Ogege is a neighboring
village to Amufu Ai-ejeba, the country home of popular singer, Tuface Idibia.
The heavily armed gunmen
stormed the area, Monday evening butchering residents and in the process cut
off the man’s head.
The development had
since forced residents of the area to vacate their homes.
However, when the
Pressmen contacted the state’s police spokesman, Moses Yamu on Tuesday, he said
he was not aware of the attack.
“I am not aware of any
attack in the area but I will call you back once I find out,” he said.
The development is
coming barely two months after the local government witnessed a heavy bloodbath
in Okpoga.
