"Fake" Journal Publication: Kogi State University Don to Face Disciplinary Committee. The Senate of Kogi State University has approved the report of its Committee which investigated the alleged publication of “Fake” Journal titled “CONTEMPORARY JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES” in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The report found Professor H.I Jimoh of Department of Geography and Environmental Studies Culpable of allegedly floating a “fake” journal and therefore suspended from his duties.
Senate has therefore referred the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee for necessary action. It further directed the Registrar to follow necessary administrative procedures and refer Professor Jimoh to the disciplinary committee as approved.
