Obaseki's Victory: We Are 100% Happy --- NUT

The Nation union of teachers, edo chapter has expressed their happiness over victory of Godwin Obaseki at the Wednesday governorship election.

The Chairman of the union, Mr Mike Uhumwangho told newsmen in Benin that the entire teachers in the state were happy over the result of the election.

Uhumwangho said the election was free and fair “and I believe that the better candidate won”.

“We are 100 per cent happy that the candidate who the Edo NUT endorsed won the governorship race.

“I believe that he will continue the good work that Gov. Adams Oshiomhole has started and will do better,” he said.

He, however, called on the governor- elect not to fail on his electoral promises to revamp the education sector in the state.
