The Olabisi Onabanjo
University, OOU has called off its strike, the Academic Staff Union of
Universities (ASUU), OOU chapter had earlier embark on indefinite strike due to
the failed promises of the State Government, but have now called it off and the
university is set to resume immediately.
The University has
decided to recall its students back to school after a month and two weeks off
striking. With this it seems the government might have met the needs of the lecturers
or simply made a more concrete promise to them.
Students are advised to
resume immediately, as examinations could begin immediately and no excuse would
be entertained and no make-up examination would be given.
