OGUN: Hon. Ladi Adebutu Hosts Ogun PDP Chairmen And Secretaries

 Inspite of the scorching sun but with the love of the party at heart, the Local Government PDP Chairmen and secretaries, ward chairmen and secretaries across the 20 Local Governments and 236 wards in Ogun State attended a new year parley with Hon Ladi Adebutu at PDP Secretariat, Legacy Building, Abeokuta, on January 4, 2017.

Addressing the gathering at the occasion, Hon Ladi stated that his resolve to surrender himself as Chief Servant for the people of Ogun state was one borne out of his desire to rescue the squandered particles of the state's legacies from the incumbent administration and return the gateway state to its glorious part and place of pride among the comity of states.

The condition of local governments in Ogun State , according to Hon Ladi, is worrisome and pledged to support the autonomy of local governments in Nigeria which, to him, would ensure rapid grassroot development and impact positively on the people and the state generally.

A major highlight of the event was the acceptance of over 1,900 members of All Progressive Congress into PDP by the state party Chairman, Hon Sikirulai Ogundele. The decampees from Ado Odo Ota Local Government were led by Alhaji Azeez Akorede.
