timeline.
Now, Facebook has just cracked down on 30,000 accounts found to be
spreading fake news stories or spam in France ahead of the country’s
presidential election.
Facebook’s security manager Shabnam Shaik says,
‘our priority, of course is to remove the accounts with the largest footprint,
with a high amount of activity and a broad reach. The purge will not remove all
accounts that are spreading fake news, but we know we have to keep getting
better’.
